For the work 10 treatments were realized with two repetitions, to more than one witness for cultivation, taking variables as the percentage of germination, formation of esclerotia in plants inoculated with micelio of Sclerotium sp. originated from isolations of the cultivation of the rice and tomato, to 2, 4, 8 and 12 days after its inoculation, respectively. In accordance with the incidence of the illness, so much for the isolations of the mushroom originated from the cultivation of rice and tomato this one fond you will cultivate nine of 10 studied, that is to say to 90 % of the studied vegetable material. The cultivation with major formation of esclerotia, originated from the isolation of tomato was the cultivation spinach beet with an average of 33.5 esclerotia, and of equal way this cultivation was predominant to the attack of the mushroom with an average of 45 esclerotes originated from the isolation the cultivation of rice, the cultivation of bean no present infections of the mushroom in none of two evaluated isolations. |

The cultivation with major formation of esclerotia, originated from the isolation of tomato was the cultivation spinach beet with an average of 33.5 esclerotia, and of equal way this cultivation was predominant to the attack of the mushroom with an average of 45 esclerotes originated from the isolation the cultivation of rice, the cultivation of bean no present infections of the mushroom in none of two evaluated isolations.El presente trabajo realizado en la Granja Santa Inés, de la Universidad Técnica de Machala, en el que se determinaron los cultivos hospederos del hongo Sclerotium sp., provenientes de aislamientos de los cultivos del tomate y arroz, que estuvieron inoculados bajo invernadero con el objetivo de identificar la incidencia del hongo con otras posibles especies vegetales hospederas, mediante el aislamiento in vitro de Sclerotium sp., cultivado en un medio de cultivo PDA (papa + dextrosa + agar); se inocularon en las diferentes plantas de ciclo corto y se contabilizaron los esclerotes producidos en cada uno de los cultivos evaluados. Para el trabajo se realizó 10 tratamientos con dos repeticiones, a más de un testigo por cultivo, tomando variables como el porcentaje de germinación, formación de esclerotes en plantas inoculadas con micelio de Sclerotium sp., provenientes de aislamientos de los cultivos del arroz y tomate, a los 2, 4, 8 y 12 días después de su inoculación, respectivamente. De acuerdo a la incidencia de la enfermedad, tanto para los aislamientos del hongo provenientes del cultivo de arroz y tomate ésta afectó a nueve de 10 cultivares estudiados, es decir al 90% del material vegetal estudiado.
