| Yhteenveto: | Assessing the degree of seismic vulnerability in homes is of great importance both to ensure adequate design against earthquakes and to understand and predict structural responses. Understanding the structural behavior is fundamental to be able to characterize more adequately the level of damage that can present a structure product of a seismic event. In this research we analyzed the aspects on which the vulnerability of the dwelling depends. These are the geometric aspect (number of walls in both directions, irregularity in the floor of the dwelling, irregularity in height); Structural aspect (detail of columns and confinement beam, mezzanine, moorings in decks, confined and reinforced walls) of construction materials (quality of materials in joints, type and way of having masonry, quality of bonding of mortar joints) The foundation (mooring beams and reinforced concrete), the ground (hard, soft, intermediate) and environment (topography). So that the house qualifies as low, medium and high seismic vulnerability. In the resulting analysis of the dwelling analyzed, type T8 of MIDUVI indicates that the required longitudinal steel area is the minimum ie 1% of the crosssectional area of the column, clearly indicating that the confining walls are supporting Adequately the loads generated, Because of its low vulnerability. We conclude that the dwellings with confined masonry are a house with low vulnerability, so that a "Building Assessment" form was designed to identify the vulnerability problems in the dwellings. Finished the evaluation of the housing was designed the methodology of work for the design of housing resistant earthquake, focused on the fundamental aspects for the construction of earthquake resistant dwellings with confined walls which are determined in the following thesis. |
