Afegir etiqueta | Sumari: | Determine the Framingham cardiovascular risk (age, gender, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, smoking, diabetes) in patients with chronic renal failure with replacement therapy treatment of Teofilo Davila Hospital from June to September 2013 descriptive cross-sectional study. Patients with chronic renal insufficiency Dialysis Unit Teofilo Davila Hospital they conducted a test to determine individual characteristics and then apply the scale of Framingham cardiovascular risk. According to the values is the total of 101 patients of which 55 belong to therapy hemodialysis and 46 peritoneal dialysis. Framingham scale is applied to a total of 70 patients of which 37 patients treated with hemodialysis and 33 peritoneal dialysis. Among the remaining 31 patients the scale does not apply because 18 patients are in the age limit between 30-74años 9 patients do not cooperate with the interview and physical examination, 3 patients are not in the study site and 1 patient died. There is a predominance of female gender with 52.4% and 47.5% were male patients. |
