Résumé:In the present research work focuses on the development and evaluation of a mentoring project with undergraduates Distance Education, its main objective is to implement, develop and evaluate the experiences of a pilot mentoring with a view to boosting improving the quality of the processes of academic orientation and the emergence of a culture of support, favoring the significant learning, the University Center of Quito with a sample of two mentees, Its research design is based from the descriptive models, analytical - sintético, deductive and inductive statistical method, the techniques used are, reading, concept maps, graphic organizers, and the summary and paraphrasing, within the technical field can be mentioned observation, interview, the survey and focus groups, questionnaires as tools, assessments and data sheets used. In conclusion it was determined that main weaknesses are the habits of study and career motivation, factors influencing significantly in their academic development.
