Análisis de la incidencia de la normativa de comercio exterior en las pymes ecuatorianas y propuestas para el mejoramiento de su internacionalización

This paper presents an analysis of Ecuador's business sector to determine size, type, activity and geographic location of the ecuadorian companies. Statistical information on foreign trade are presented: imports, exports and trade balance; main import and export; and, major destinations and origins of exports and imports. Identify the most relevant rules and operations that have affected the activities of imports and exports in the past decade and a brief description of them. Move comments extracted from employers surveyed in order to determine whether the issues raised have been a benefit or an affectation for foreign trade activities in the country's enterprises in general and pymes in Ecuador. In addition, it poses an analysis of the points from the perspective of the author. Finally, it considers the following proposals for improving the internationalization of ecuadorian pymes: generation of productive chains, use of customs regimes, support seeking specialized agencies in foreign trade, training and use of new technologies for promotion
