Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | The ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) is one of the infectious complications associated with the care of the most common health in critically ill patients who are intubated and mechanically ventilated. The present is a retrospective sectional study that was carried analyzing medical histories of patients hospitalized in the Hospital UTPL in the period November 2011 to November 2012. Which obtained than 50% of patients developed, 60% presents after 96 hours, with a mortality of 20%. The most frequent comorbidity was the neurological and the most common germ was Candida albicans and Klebsiella pneumoniae. |
