Description
Summary:Knowledge of sustainable architecture and the general conceptions of the related sciences are the guides which allow us to develop sustainable housing with low environmental impact, high bioclimatic level, and integration with natural life cycles. Long lasting homes, easily repairable with materials ideal for re-cycling; that are flexible and adaptable, with sustainable principles that allow us to dispense with the liabilities of HVAC mechanical devices which consume energy and produce pollution. By utilising forward thinking principles in the utilisation of basic services, the use of low cost, conventional and re-newable energy sources, housing can be evaluated from the design stage through to construction, enabling them to be modified, and thus make them more effective. It is proposed that habitable housing is conceived incorporating humane and sensible ideas whilst offering a good quality of life. Housing which can be reconfigured continuously, satisfying the needs of its occupants at all times, which might degrade when it’s time is over, returning to its natural ecosystem components without generating any environmental or physical harm
