Sumario:The analysis of emotions in patients with Alzheimers disease is a field that has been extensively studied in recent years with the purpose of tracking the progress of the disease. This study shows a first idea to contribute with a method to retrieve not only simple but complex emotions from patients, which we will call emotion pattern. Preliminary results showed that it is possible to identify the emotions of depression and guilt, which are typical in this kind of patients. Our work is in development, and aims to identify not only basic emotions but complex emotions through semantic tools, in order to identify complex patterns which facilitate the tasks of caregivers of Alzheimers patients.
