Durante su evolución, ha sufrido cambios a los que la sociedad lojana ha sabido adaptarse. Sin embargo, las condiciones de esparcimiento no han sido las más adecuadas. Por medio del presente trabajo investigativo, se ha analizado y diagnosticado cada una de las debilidades y oportunidades que presenta la Plaza como tal, y se ha determinado que, la revitalización de este espacio público mediante el uso de energías alternativas, mejoraría la calidad de vida del lugar, con beneficio para sus verdaderos protagonistas: el peatón y la naturaleza, y todo ello con gran ahorro energético.
