| Summary: | Bella Rica-Ponce Enriquez Mining Area is part of a rich mining district in gold ore, which in its nature has minerals associated; mainly sulphides such as pyrite, chalcopyrite, bornite and galena; which in one way or another are being abandoned and altered for being to the elements. Anomalous maps of mineral concentration were designed to determine the areas affected to reveal like altered minerals and leached are concentrated more intensely in lower parts of the topography, certainly for their specific weight and gravity. The mineral ores exposed to the elements suffer and undergo physical and chemical changes, such changes can be observed in passive miners found at Bella Rica-Ponce Enriquez Mining Area. An effective way to get reliable results of how these liabilities behave in the environment is through mineralogical and chemical analysis of samples taken at field throughout the entire study area. |
