Modelo de gestión por procesos para el Área de Pediatría del Hospital Regional de Portoviejo “Dr. Verdi Cevallos Balda

In Portoviejo Manabí-Ecuador-a research project whose main objective was to implement a process management model for the pediatric Portoviejo Regional Hospital "Dr. was performed Verdi Cevallos Balda ", ensuring better customer service by performing diagnostic; identification of existing processes; training the health team; and proposed development of improving the quality of care provided. This project was based on the methodology of the research approach, using analytic and synthetic methods; documentaries and 40 members of the health team techniques; and, the total sample was the same. As a result, the diagnosis of the total area in question; existing processes identified in this thread; was trained health team; and a proposal to improve the quality of care provided was developed. In conclusion states that this implementation led to improved process management; supported by hospital authorities was achieved; it was possible to work with reliable information to make changes to procedures in the health team, achieving both awareness of the health team and the user.
