description This study was conducted in New Jersey, two high schools in the area, one public and one private were chosen at random for this investigation. The sample chosen was a group of students and teachers who belong to 8th, 9th, and 10th EFL grades in both institutions respectively. The main purposes of the current study were to determine the type of supplementary materials used in EFL public and private high schools, and also to compare the kind of supporting materials that are being used in both institutions.
