| Резюме: | The bryophytes play a key role in diversity, biomass and ecosystem functioning; However, habitat fragmentation and human activities threaten the conservation status of these species. Under this premise, several studies have documented the utility of research in potential distribution models, in research of protection and conservation of threatened species. In order to determine the potential distribution and the priority conservation areas of bryophytes in Ecuador, it was made distribution models of nine species of bryophytes performed by the method of maximum entropy (MaxEnt), It was determined that the most influential variables in the presence of bryophytes are: elevation, average temperature of the coldest quarter, average temperature of the wettest quarter and precipitation of the coldest quarter. The results show that bryophytes are potentially distributed in less than 2.7% of Ecuadorian territory, 66.7% of the analyzed species have potential distribution from 6.8% to 26% of the area within the zones of high probability of the SNAP ; while only 33.3% of these species have a potential distribution of 41.2% to 63.2%. |
