Shrnutí:The objective of this research was to develop a slaughter system for the preservation of meat in the slaughterhouse of Calceta at 2½ km via Tosagua the market study was obtained from a population sample of 339 people; the investigation obtained the following data, there is a minimal difference in the consumption of meat (pork 53% and beef 47%), and estimation of demand is 35010.72kg/month with a per capita consumption of 1.82kg/month of meat; the interview to the supervisor of the slaughterhouse showed that from Monday to Sunday 145 cattle and 165 pigs are slaughtered. An observation was performed to verify the conditions of the slaughterhouse and the requirements of machinery, equipment and infrastructure for the slaughter of animals, an area of 50,000 m2 for the creation of slaughter was considered. In the economic-financial study it was considered a total investment amount of $ 413,607.05 and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR), was 34.17%. Net Present Value (NPV) $ 426,753.54. The return period of investigation (PRI) was 4 years 23 days. In the environmental impact study possible effects to the environment were analyzed with Leopold matrix for the assessment of the actions in the research on environmental factors, which determined that the relocation of the slaughterhouse is feasible because its low environmental adversity
