Summary:The objective of the present investigation was to determine the feasibility for the implementation of a fermented milk beverage processor based on whey with freeze-dried pulp of Ataúlfo mango located in the Canton Chone Avenida 10 de Agosto and Callejón 10 de Agosto. Through a market study aimed at the population of the Chone, Portoviejo and Manta cantons (384 people), it was possible to identify the acceptance of the product, where 39.8% are willing to consume the milk drink "almost always". The resources that are needed for the execution of the processing plant must consider the construction of the plant, machinery, raw material, whose total investment value is $ 485119,68. In addition, the financial study determined the feasibility of the project, due to the values obtained from the NPV are $ 69010,84 and the IRR is 19% where they were reflected positively and the beneficial cost to be obtained is $ 0.14 /liter. The application of the Conesa Matrix determined that the execution of the proposed project will generate severe environmental impacts in the place where the microenterprise will be located.
