Zusammenfassung:The research was carried out in the Molecular Biology Laboratory at ESPAM MFL, which consisted of determining the occupational risk factors of this laboratory. It began with the collection of information by applying surveys and an interview, where it was evidenced that laboratory workers are exposed to occupational accidents in all areas of the same, since they carry materials, supplies, and equipment that when handled improperly or when they are in bad condition can affect the health of the personnel. The physical, mechanical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial risk factors were identified, for which the Risk Identification Matrix proposed by the Ministry of Labor was used; estimating the level of risk based on the Triple Criteria Method, it was obtained that the risks of greater incidence within the laboratory are: handling of sharp tools (analysis), gas generation (hydrogen chloride), handling of chemicals (analysis and practices), and the proliferation of biological agents (biological waste). An Occupational Health and Safety Manual was developed that was socialized with the personnel of the Occupational Health and Safety Unit of ESPAM MFL with the purpose of contributing to the care of workers and the improvement of labor practices.
