Summary: | The objective of this research was to evaluate the presence of Pathologies in Apis mellifera colonies associated with the agroecological system, in the apiary located at the Santo Domingo Experimental Station (EESD) at the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIAP), where eight hives were evaluated, completely homogeneous Langstroth type that consisted of ten racks for each apiary, for this at the field level two samples were taken, one for an open hive (C.A.) and another for a closed hive (C.C.), Laboratory Techniques were applied as a washing technique with soap to identify Varroasis and Braulosis; the Cantwell Technique and Hemocytometer to identify Nosema; Technique based on Antibodies for European Foulbrood and the Lactophenol Blue Technique for Plaster Breeding, for diagnosis of pathologies as results it was obtained that the presence of a pathology called Varroasis with general percentages of infestation less than 1 - 5% in the hives evaluated and the levels of infestation were low, it should be noted that there was an absence of Braulosis, Nosemosis, Plaster Breeding and European Foulbrood, it is concluded that the presence of the Varroasis pathology exceeded the other pathologies under study. |
