Тойм:This research was in the Bovine Herd of Agricultural Polytechnic School of Manabí Manuel Felix Lopez (ESPAM MFL), it aimed the diagnosis of quality control in the production of milk based on compliance with the Best Practices in Milking (BPO) in the three principal moments within your application: before, during and after activity. For the development of the research used specific diagnostic tools such as the interview, the weighting of the BPO and procedures for creating synthetic indices which allowed to define the level of compliance with the BPO in the area. With the application of Kendall method, it was determined what were the most important BPO, checking the degree of agreement among experts, W = 0.693, which indicates that if there is agreement. Finally we present the mathematical expressions for determining the Compliance Index BPO offering in its application a value of (0.419), being on the scale created in an intermediate situation. Compliance with the BPO after activity was the lowest sub index score (0.121). These results give way to the development of a program of improvements, which are defined the measures that mitigate or eliminate the shortcomings in meeting the BPO, defining the activities that are not met in the milking herd like cattle, milking equipment and materials. The commitment of those responsible for the area was a key element in the proposals.
