总结:In this research, it was analyzed the effect that the application of probiotic (Lactobacillus plantarum) has in pig feed at all stages in the initial weight, food intake, weekly weight, weekly weight gain, feed conversion, mortality, presence of diarrhea, hematologic indicators and cost-benefit analysis. 24 mixed pigs which were 32 days old were used. An experiment with a completely randomized block design and three treatments was performed: T1: control (no probiotic); T2: 10 of probiotic mL per animal; T3: 20 mL of probiotic per animal. The observations were processed by the analysis of variance. The results show no significant effect for these. Averages in the different treatments were as follows: initial weight T1 (8,06kg) - T3 (7,53kg); weekly food consumption T3 (9,77kg) - T1 (9,52kg); weekly weight T3 (40,77kg) - T1 (39,04kg); weight gain T1 (4,71kg) - T2 (4,61kg); T3 feed conversion (2,15 kg) -T1 (2,34kg). The incidence of diarrhea mainly showed up in T1 (57,14%), while in T2 and T3 was 28,57% and 14,28% respectively. None of the treatments showed mortality. The organ weight is within normal traits, It was not altered by the application of probiotic. Hematological indicators were within normal values. Benefit-cost treatments 1 and 3 obtained a return of $ 1,11. It is concluded that the animals experimented a better health condition with the application of probiotics.
