Beskrivelse
Summary:This research proposes multisensory stimulation as an inclusive resource in early childhood classrooms with functional diversity, recognizing its importance in ensuring the comprehensive development and participation of children aged 3 to 5 years. Within the educational context, it can be perceived that despite all the information available at our fingertips, there are still barriers that limit academic success in these children, due to a lack of training on the use of strategies that promote learning and socialization processes through the application of activities that stimulate the senses. This research has a mixed approach in which interviews were conducted with authorities and teachers, surveys were carried out with parents, and observation sheets were used for children with functional diversity at the Miraflores educational institution. The results reveal that multisensory stimulation improves cognitive, social, emotional, and psychomotor areas, enhancing active participation and facilitating the expression of emotions. The results indicate an urgent need for ongoing training on this strategy and its application as a resource. For this reason, a multisensory kit was designed that can be adapted to the needs of each student; this kit integrates the 5 senses and aims to be a resource that strengthens the educational process, serving as a practical tool for teachers and families.
