Sažetak:Music is capable of reaching an activation of all the senses, turning learning into a fun and meaningful experience between students, and through the musical stimuli, it is possible to embrace different areas of the brain, enhancing memory, motivation and the acquisition of a new content. The main objective of the present paper is to analyze how music therapy when used as a pedagogical strategy improves English learning in children with attention-deficit disorder. The research was aligned within a qualitative methodological approach with a descriptive scope, where instruments such as interviews (open-ended questionnaire) with English Teachers and observation (observation guide) carried out in classrooms were used. The results showed that through musical activities, children became much more active by dancing. Likewise, the social interaction obtained was much more pronounced and natural, even with children diagnosed and possibly diagnosed with attention deficit disorder. Despite having observed the use of music in “Language” and “Word Recall” classes, greater benefits could be reached by adapting the activities to the curriculum’s requirements. It is concluded that musical stimuli generate a striking and meaningful sensation in students, allowing effective retention of vocabulary and phonemes, thus facilitating a pleasant and natural social interaction.
