Summary:This paper presents a conceptual synthesis on networked social movements in order to analyze the global cycle of protests and demonstrations registered between 2009 and 2014, within the overall context of collective action and political networking in the information society. The work is oriented by a connectionist network theory approach. From the contrast between literature and the cases registered within the period of study, a set of 10 theoretical propositions to explain the fundamental dynamics of social movements network is proposed.
