Summary:In this paper, we seek to discuss theoretical and epistemological issues that pervade the research with connecting subjects. Thus, through deep reflection strategies, logic and research procedures of several authors of reference on the subject of research in receptivity media, observing the need to consider the relevance of the dialogic and procedural communication process of historical subjects in the context of social and contemporary changes. Thus, viewing the notion of communicative citizenship, as a relevant dimension to extend the understanding of the dynamics and practices of social actors and understand the new media scenarios made in today’s societies, such as Latin America.
