Instead, it should be seen as a value-generating contribution that drives competitiveness. Meat organizations should follow the same innovation processes as other companies, implementing technological, organizational, financial, or commercial alternatives. Nevertheless, some meat companies often fail to differentiate themselves from competitors due to a lack of application of innovative strategies or processes. In this context, the research presents the reality of meat companies in Cuenca, for which a survey was conducted to determine the influence of their innovation on value management related to competitiveness. The validation process of variable behavior was carried out using the Shapiro-Wilk statistic, and subsequently, through a relational scope and the Spearman test, the relationship between the study variables was demonstrated. The main results show that, statistically, business innovation has a significant impact on the competitiveness of Cuenca's meat companies and that these companies are indeed constantly innovating.

Las organizaciones cárnicas deben seguir los mismos procesos de innovación que las demás empresas, implementando alternativas tecnológicas, organizativas, financieras o comerciales. No obstante, algunas empresas cárnicas no suelen diferenciarse de sus competidores, debido a que no aplican estrategias o procesos innovadores. La metodología se basa en la realización de encuestas a las empresas cárnicas de Cuenca para determinar si aplican innovación empresarial. En base a esto se busca una comprobación estadística mediante diferentes modelos como Shapiro Wilks y Spearman, además de un análisis cuantitativo de las empresas cárnicas de Cuenca mediante la herramienta de Power BI. El objetivo primordial de la investigación fue analizar la innovación empresarial en la industria cárnica como aporte a la gestión de valor de competitividad. Los principales resultados abarcan que estadísticamente la innovación empresarial si tiene un gran impacto en la competitividad de las empresas cárnicas de Cuenca y que las mismas si están en constante innovación.A inovação, vista no interesse do mercado, busca a introdução de novidades em um produto ou o desenvolvimento de um novo produto. No entanto, com relação à tecnologia, ela deve ser vista além das práticas de melhoria contínua simplesmente orientadas para a transformação de processos, mas sim na contribuição de valor que leva à competitividade. As organizações de carne devem seguir os mesmos processos de inovação que outras empresas, implementando alternativas tecnológicas, organizacionais, financeiras ou comerciais. No entanto, algumas empresas de carne muitas vezes não conseguem se diferenciar de seus concorrentes porque não aplicam estratégias ou processos inovadores. Nesse sentido, a pesquisa apresenta a realidade das empresas de carne em Cuenca, às quais foi aplicada uma pesquisa para determinar a influência de sua inovação na gestão de valor associada à competitividade. O processo de validação do comportamento das variáveis foi realizado por meio da estatística Shapiro Wilks, para posteriormente demonstrar a relação entre as variáveis em estudo a partir de um escopo relacional e por meio do teste de Spearman.
