Opis
Izvleček:Executive function and intelligence are two aspects of cognition characterised by complex mental activity. During the pandemic, confinement made telematic assessment difficult as few tasks could be effectively applied. The aim was to correlate parent-perceived executive functions with children’s fluid intelligence in the virtual modality. A total of 121 pupils aged between 9 and 11 years and their parents participated in the study. The results of the CHEXI children’s executive functioning questionnaire and the Raven’s Progressive Matrices test were taken into account. The results showed that there was no significant change in the status of executive function and the intelligence assessed. An association was found between working memory and fluid intelligence. Finally, it was concluded that the perception of working memory problems is associated with lower levels of fluid intelligence.
