| Sumari: | Market selection with export purposes is a very important step for any type of company that is considering the decision to expand its business and become more global. The literature shows different methods for making decisions related to market selection. The article aims to show the usefulness of the multifactor index’s method in the selection of a target market. To achieve the proposed objective, a simulated case study is presented. The data used was extracted from the World Bank website, which offers a large number of indicators by country and time range. The results show the usefulness of the method to decide to which markets the activity should be expanded according to the indicators used for the hypothetical case presented. |
