總結: | The objective of the research was to characterize the morphological behavior of the hybrids Sarchimor 4260, Sarchimor 1669, and the unreleased hybrid Manabí 01 in their second year of vegetative development. The study applied methods such as analysis and synthesis, observation, and statistical techniques using a Randomized Block Design (RBD), taking a sample of 54 coffee plants with three treatments: T1 (Sarchimor 4260), T2 (Sarchimor 1669) and T3 (Manabí 01), each with six replications. The variables evaluated were plant height (PH), stem diameter (SD), number of leaves (NL), leaf width (LW), leaf length (LL), petiole length (PL), number of branches per plant (NBP), number of nodes per plant (NNP), and number of fruits per plant (NFP), and the qualitative variables leaf color (LC), leaf shape (LS), canopy shape (CS) and bud color (BC). The results showed that T1 had the highest PH (78.3 cm), T2 obtained the highest SD (14.41 mm) and the highest NL (185.31 leaves per plant). The highest NBP (27.28) and NNP (15.39) were also observed in T2, while during the production period the highest NFP was registered in T3 with 94.28 fruits per plant. For LW, LL and PL, the treatments were statistically equal. Regarding the qualitative variables, LC was light green for the two Sarchimor hybrids and bronze green for T3; all hybrids showed elliptic leaf shape. In conclusion, the morphological evaluation showed that Sarchimor 4260 reached the highest average plant height, Sarchimor 1669 showed higher averages in stem diameter, number of leaves, number of branches and number of nodes per plant, whereas Manabí 01 was the most productive hybrid. |
