This contribution can be framed within a specific project, or be done through the work their students and teachers do. Students of the Faculty of Computing Sciences at ESPAM MFL carry out work related to their training, most of them oriented to the development of programs and systems that can be produced and implemented. This work aims to characterize the organizations in Zone 4 for which the faculty has created software. In this regard, the information of the work carried out by students during five years (2012-2016) was analyzed, applying a categorization based on the type of organization and the sector it belongs to. Besides, the literature search method was applied to determine the contribution of these systems to the development guidelines of the Zone 4. It was determined that 60.91% of the organizations for which systems or applications were developed were public, 35, 45% private, and 3.64% community. The Services area was where the work was mostly oriented with 80% of them. In addition, as part of the contribution to the strategic objectives of the area, 76.36% of the software developed can contribute to the increase of the percentage of people using TICs. |

Esta contribución puede estar enmarcada dentro de un proyecto específico, o realizarse a través del trabajo que hacen sus estudiantes y profesores. Los estudiantes de la Carrera de Computación de la ESPAM MFL realizan trabajos relacionados a su formación, la mayoría de estos orientados al desarrollo de programas y sistemas que pueden ser implementados y, puestos en producción. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo caracterizar las organizaciones de la Zona 4 para las cuales se han creado software por parte de esta carrera. Para esto se analizó la información de los trabajos realizados por los estudiantes durante cinco años (2012-2016), aplicando una categorización con base en el tipo de organización y al sector que pertenece. Además, se aplicó el método bibliográfico para determinar el aporte de estos sistemas a los lineamientos de desarrollo de la Zona 4. Se determinó que el 60,91% de las organizaciones para las que se desarrollaron sistemas o aplicaciones fueron de carácter público, 35,45% privadas y el 3,64% comunitarias. En el sector de servicios fue donde más se orientaron los trabajos, con el 80% de los mismos.
