Streszczenie:The present study of qualitative focus and descriptive reach has as main objective to identify the relationship between the Onboarding Program of a pharmaceutical company in Quito with the engagement of its newly hired employees. Two tools have been proposed as data collection methods, the first one with a quantitative focus, which consist of an Engagement Survey, based on the Aon Hewitt engagement model, and a semi-structured interview that responds to the qualitative focus of this study. Both methods will be applied to the employees hired in a certain period in order to facilitate the interpretation of results and to be able to correlate both variables. We study concepts such as Onboarding, Organizational Culture and Engagement; considering the following specific objectives: to identify the level of engagement of the employees, to define, from the employee experience, their perception regarding the Onboarding Program, and finally, to establish the relationship between the Onboarding Program with the employee engagement. Therefore, this study tries to explain the importance of a Onboarding Program and how this can influence the quickly develop of employee engagement; for this, several intervention strategies are described with the intention of potentiate the current Onboarding Program of the company.
