Resumo:The present research project is focused on investigating the influence that interpersonal relationships have in the rotation of administrative personnel of the Supply Chain Area of a private enterprise in the pharmaceutical sector in the city of Quito. This issue has strengthen itself throughout the last years around the world, however, there are still several countries, such as Ecuador, where the relevance of this subject is still not well understood regarding the importance of creating an adequate labour environment for their collaborators, where interpersonal relationships are a key factor. Creating a suitable labour environment does not only benefit the collaborators, but it also improves the level of work performance, and thus, reduces the levels of personnel rotation. Due to this, there is now the necessity of researching how interpersonal relationships are within the Supply Chain Department. The development of this research will be done in an experimental way, where information will be gathered through surveys, sharing quantitative data in order to correlate the obtained results. As a consequence, this will have an outcome regarding the understanding of how interpersonal relationships influences in the personnel rotation in the Supply Chain Department. Based on the results acquired and the review of bibliographic sources regarding intervention strategies previously mentioned, possible approaches will be stated in order to improve interpersonal relationships, and as a consequence, the level of personnel rotation reduces within the Supply Chain Department and in the whole organization.
