| Sažetak: | The project focuses on how self-concept influences the academic performance of teenagers from 15 to 18 years old residents of Nono- Ecuador parish; on the understanding that late adolescence is a critical age when it comes to the selfconcept development; this concept may have imperative repercussions at the teenagers behavioral level, taking into consideration the way students perform at school. Therefore, it was decided to evaluate teenagers with the Form 5 Self Concept Questionnaire and connect results with their grades for this school year. With the purpose of verifying the hypothesis that arises to better selfconcept, better academic performance, and to provide the educational community with intervention strategies to prevent and counteract low selfconcept. |
