要約:This investigation arose from the necessity to accomplish an analysis of methodological strategies worked by teachers of children from 2 - 4 years old, and the impact they have on psychomotor development in three Quito Municipal Kindergartens. The methodological strategies allow identifying principles, criteria and procedures that organize the way of teachers act in terms of programming, implementation and evaluation of teaching-learning process. In the first level of education, the teacher responsibility must be shared with families, community members and children, because all of them have to be involved in the educational experience. Teachers need to implement appropriate management strategies to develop the psychomotor area, in children from 2 to 4 years old. Also, they have to help children to construct knowledge by playing, experimenting, so they can act on their environment. Finally, it is a process of inter relationship with others.
