| Zusammenfassung: | This study addresses the use of the reading corner as a strategy to promote meaningful learning in children in early childhood education from 4 to 5 years of age at “Verbo Divino” high school, Guaranda canton, Bolivar province, during the period 2024 - 2025. The problem focused on the limitations observed in infants at the time of learning, since their knowledge does not last, which indicates a lack of significant learning. This situation motivated the implementation of strategies and tools in the reading corner. The main objective was to propose innovative techniques through the use of ICT tools in the reading corner to strengthen meaningful learning in the initial stage. The following section describes the methodology used, which was mixed, qualitative and quantitative. As a data collection technique, observation and survey forms were applied, which allowed the teacher to identify knowledge, attitudes, difficulties, while the children's behavior, attitudes and skills were observed. Also, the implemented proposal was the design of a didactic guide with innovative and accessible activities using ICTs as a playful tool with the purpose of motivating the children to learn. Finally, it was evidenced that the implementation of technological tools in the reading corner enhances the interest, participation and meaningful learning of children, so its integration through didactic and playful activities is recommended as an essential proposal for the initial level. |
