| Sumari: | The present investigation consisted of how to approach the Teacch Method as a learning strategy in children with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) of fourth parallel year "A" of General Basic Education, as well as with the teachers in charge, which entails great challenges for the use of strategies. The objective was to promote the use of strategies to improve the academic activities of children with ADHD through the use of appropriate tools that allow accurate and systematic research. It was carried out with fourth grade students of parallel "A" of the Ciudad de Montalvo 14 Basic Education School, Montalvo canton, Los Ríos province, during the 2023-2024 academic year. In addition, this research project had a deductive and inductive research approach that were of great relevance to finalize this research proposal, giving way to the application of instruments and techniques that served us for data collection which consisted of a survey conducted to teachers in charge of the grade and parents on the other hand an observation sheet made to the students of the Ciudad de Montalvo School of Basic Education. Finally, from the data obtained we found that the Teacch method is little known but can be used in children with ADHD to improve concentration, attention and social skills, the results also show that the method provides significant advantages by improving academic performance and autonomy of students in addition to providing a structured and visually organized environment that promotes independence and skill development. This constitutes a support for education by providing guidelines for future research on the use of this method in other learning difficulties. |
