| Resumo: | The present study addresses the problem of insecurity in the physical and emotional integrity of the student during their processes of pedagogical mediation and educational intervention, the main objective was to promote the development of critical-reflective learning that strengthens the physical and emotional integrity of the student. Combating risks and facilitating the development of pedagogical mediation and educational intervention effectively, the research used a quantitative approach through a survey with a Likert scale that allowed collecting data and evaluating the impact of pedagogical mediation on Fourth Grade students. Basic General Education of the “Manuelita Saenz” Cantone Guaranda Educational Unit, in turn, these results revealed the presence of significant shortcomings related to the emotional and physical insecurity perceived by students, which negatively affects the quality of the learning process due to its emotional integrity, the conclusion of this study highlights the importance of structuring and implementing innovative pedagogical strategies that prioritize the safeguarding of the student's integrity and simultaneously enhance the development of critical competencies that strengthen comprehensive security in school contexts. |
