Description
Summary:The purpose of this report is to examine role-playing as an innovative playful strategy to strengthen word recognition and pronunciation in first-year Basic General Education students. This research seeks to demonstrate how the use of role-playing can facilitate language learning through interactive activities adapted to the age of children, promoting better assimilation of linguistic content. To carry out this study, a mixed approach was applied that combines theoretical analysis with classroom practice, obtaining qualitative and quantitative data. The collection of this data allows us to support the main variables of the research, providing a solid basis for the effectiveness of this playful strategy in language teaching. Finally, the results obtained were valuable for the design of new pedagogical strategies that promote active participation and meaningful learning in students. Furthermore, it was observed that the implementation of the role play in the classroom encouraged continuous language practice, effectively contributing to the development of pronunciation and word recognition skills in the school context.
