Description
Summary:The following project focuses on the development process of a thermoacoustic panel based on pineapple peel, designed to reduce noise pollution in various spaces. It uses sound-absorbing materials that control reverberation and sound propagation, thus improving auditory comfort. Furthermore, from a thermal engineering perspective, many of these panels also function as thermal insulators, helping to maintain internal temperature and reducing thermal energy consumption. This dual function not only optimizes energy efficiency but also promotes sustainability, making acoustic panels an integral option for the design of modern and sustainable buildings. Therefore, they are unique for having greater mechanical characteristics than natural treatment, combining them with thermal and acoustic materials such as gypsum, rock wool, and polyurethane foam, since this additive allows for ideal compaction for subjecting them to the respective tests for water absorption, heat resistance, and flexural strength.
