Riassunto:The present research has the objective to determine the influence of the multiple intelligences in the academic performance of the students of the tenth parallel "D" of the Educational Unit "Riobamba", Period March - August 2017. Theoretically, the work was based on múltiple intelligences that it wants a new model of teaching-learning centered on the students, and in which the development of various skills and abilities intervenes and in the academic performance that is the result of the learning giving by the educational activity of the professor, and produced in the student, although it is clear that not all learning is a product of the teaching action, Methodologically, the design is non- experimental, field, by the level is diagnostic-exploratory. Toe scientific method was used tbrough the deductíve-inductive process. The population which works was composed of 36 students of tbe tenth parallel ''D", of the Educationa1 Unit "Riobamba". The sample was not probabilistic because its sampling was random and intentional; the technique used for the dependent variable was Psychometric and the instrument the Multiple Intelligences Test of Howard Gardner is established as a conclusion that multiple íntelligences contribute to the development of academic performance.
