| Summary: | The implementation of a virtual reality (VR)-enabled environment for seventh-grade general basic education students is the objective of this project. By offering an interactive method that promotes learning, improves concept comprehension, piques the curiosity of learners, and makes it easier to explore historical and cultural settings, this technology aims to improve the educational experience. A review of the literature on virtual reality in education was done as part of the qualitative research methodology. Students were able to digitally examine historical, cultural, and economic issues thanks to the CoSpaces application, which was used to construct the environment and select topics from the seventh-grade curriculum. Because it complies with the virtual environment's needs, the SCRUM development approach was applied. Furthermore, the created virtual world shows itself to be a useful resource that greatly aids educators in the Social Studies classroom. In order to increase student interest and participation, topic planning and immersive environment design are essential. The user manual also serves as a handbook for teachers, including instructions on how to use and modify the application. |
