要約:The research addressed the problems surrounding traditional teaching methods, which often focus on passive memorization and do not adequately stimulate the development of essential cognitive and experimental skills in learners. The main objective of the study was to propose Thinking-Based Learning as a teaching methodology to enhance experimental work through the use of metacognitive experimental guides. The research adopted a non-experimental quantitative approach, based on surveys to evaluate the students' perception of the effectiveness of this methodology and the use of experimental guides based on metacognition; the sample consisted of 32 students. The results were positive towards Thinking-Based Learning and the guides, highlighting their capacity to facilitate the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as promoting scientific and cognitive skills. The conclusions emphasize the importance of ThinkingBased Learning in the development of critical and analytical thinking, recommending its formal integration into curricula and teacher training in this methodology, as well as promoting a collaborative learning environment that integrates metacognition.
