Čoahkkáigeassu:The aim of this research is to describe dramatization as a didactic strategy for learning in History in the 2nd Unified General Baccalaureate of the Mariscal Sucre Educational Unit, Alausí canton, Achupallas parish, period 2021-2022. The methodological study was developed under a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach, with a fundamental and experimental theory, field and bibliographic design. The research project had a descriptive scope, analysing the study phenomenon to determine the possible incidences between variables. The techniques used were observation, survey and interview, each one studied and discussed from its respective instrument. The results show the need to innovate the learning process in the field of history, because teachers still continue to work in the classroom with traditional methods, which limit and negatively affect the achievement of knowledge in this subject. The research allows us to conclude, according to the techniques and methods applied to the teachers in the development of the classes, that the implementation of didactic strategies and alternative and innovative methods such as dramatization is required to achieve a better learning of the contents of History in the students, given that, by its nature, it encourages greater participation-action and involvement in collaborative and cooperative teamwork, which contributes to the development of reflective critical thinking, creativity, expression and spontaneous and natural communication, contributing to full and comprehensive growth through quality education.
