الملخص: | The present research work has as its main objective the design of a board game that allows to have an appropriate teaching-learning process of unit 6, corresponding to the continents of the Social Studies text of the eighth year of EGB, to carry out its development we have used different theoretical contributions that support its viability, based on a mixed approach that analyzes qualitative and quantitative data resulting from the surveys made to 105 students of the Educational Unit “Juan de Velasco” and to the teachers in charge of the subject through an on-site interview. It is relevant to mention that we used bibliographic, descriptive and field research to identify the variables that support the research, which have not been manipulated. As a result of the proposed turn-based board game, we have observed the development of creative, reflective and social skills in the student, which has increased participation, interest and collaborative work |
