Voeg label toe | Samenvatting: | Visual fatigue and technostress are common phenomena in the digital age. Visual fatigue is caused by prolonged exposure to screens, while technostress is the anxiety generated by constant connectivity and information overload. In a study conducted at Empresa Eléctrica Riobamba S.A., these two aspects were evaluated in its administrative staff. Tests, including the NTP 730 for technostress and the CVSS 17 for visual fatigue, were used with sociodemographic variables. The methodological approach was descriptive, quali-quantitative, and cross-sectional, and it was analyzed using univariate statistics and Cramer's V correlation. Of the 87 workers evaluated, 72.4% presented low techno-stress and 27.6% medium; regarding visual fatigue, 60.9% had low and 39.1% medium levels. Levels of visual fatigue by severity were observed: 1.1% Mild Level 1, 14.9% Mild Level 2, 50.6% Moderate Level 3, and 33.3% Moderate Level 4. A prevention plan was proposed to reduce the adverse effects detected, thus benefiting the company and its personnel. |
