الملخص:The present investigation addressed the topic of "Social isolation by COVID 19 and family coexistence in the students of the Psychopedagogy career of the National University of Chimborazo" with the objective of determining the influence of social isolation by the Covid- 19 pandemic in the family coexistence of the students of fifth, sixth and seventh semester of Psychopedagogy. Methodologically, this investigative work assumed a quantitative-qualitative approach as it is a social research, with a non-experimental design since no study variable was manipulated, due to the level or scope it is correlational, due to the transversal time, basic objectives and countryside; the population were students of Psychopedagogy at the National University of Chimborazo with a non-probabilistic and intentional sample of 82 students (21 men and 61 women). For data collection in situ, surveys of 10 questions were used for each research variable. For the statistical analysis, it was carried out in programs such as Excel and SPSS, where it was possible to show that there is no significant correlation since the result is 0.031 bilateral between the study variables, in addition, the conclusion was reached; that there is indeed the influence of social isolation due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the family life of students in the fifth, sixth and seventh semesters of the Psychopedagogy Career at the National University of Chimborazo, because 45.4% of the relationship family develops harmoniously within a framework of respect among the members of the family group, in such a way that it can be considered adequate.
