| Sammanfattning: | Firstly, the integration of digital teaching guides and the flipped classroom method enhances the General Chemistry learning process by addressing challenges such as disinterest, lack of motivation, and traditional approaches that focus on memorization. Based on this framework, this research proposed the development of the digital teaching guide Chemical Connections, designed with the Genially tool and centered on the research topic “Relationship between the Structure of the Periodic Table and the Formulation of Inorganic Compounds.” In addition, this guide covers topics such as the periodic table and its properties, intramolecular forces, and the structure and nomenclature of inorganic compounds. The methodology employs a quantitative approach, featuring a non-experimental, cross-sectional design, a descriptive level, a basic objective, and both field and bibliographic types. Data collection was conducted through a survey technique using a questionnaire as the instrument, administered to a population of 38 students after the proposal was disseminated. Above all, the results indicated that the interactive activities integrated into the guide, such as infographics, presentations, and educational games, fostered a high level of interest, creativity, reflection, and critical thinking, promoting active and meaningful learning among students. Additionally, the flipped classroom methodology enabled students to actively manage and organize their learning process, reinforcing their understanding of fundamental concepts in General Chemistry. In conclusion, the digital teaching guide Chemical Connections, implemented through the flipped classroom, is a pedagogical tool that fosters active, autonomous, and meaningful learning, encouraging students to develop critical, reflective, and creative skills, while capturing their interest and consolidating their learning process |
