Sumari:This research main objective was to demonstrate that using the Guide of Environmental and Ancestral Wisdom produces an attitudinal change therefore meaningful learning in the students if 10th grade of “23 de Julio” School. The teaching-learning process has some difficulties which can make this process complicated and affect the student performance. Natural Science teacher concerned about the environment conservation and strengthened of ancestral knowledge have worked together to benefit students and change the educational situation of this school. Learning methodology was applied with the stakeholders using an adequate methodology supported by the natural resources. Alternative guideline was designed and applied, its base was concepts of ancestral knowledge, meaningful learning and information processing. In order to validate the pedagogical model, chi-square test method was used to compare the traditional pedagogical model and the pedagogical model used in the guide. The results showed that the application of the guide increased student’s interest, individual and group participation, creativity and taste for nature. Other conclusion was that the guide allowed to raise awareness about environmental care by using agricultural technology, agro-ecological cycle, and respect for culture and natural environment. It is considered these aspects to be important contributions to students’ formation.
