Summary:With a population of 25 patients. It was considered convenient to carry out this research, with the aim of demonstrating that the application of active and passive kinesitherapy will help improve the functional status and physical activity of patients who come to this center, it will help to prevent the loss or wear of the cartilage of the knees in people who practice a high impact sport, trying that these people can adapt again to their daily life. The methodological framework consists of a cross-sectional, retrospective or historical type of research; with a documentary research design, field and qualitative-quantitative type of study, techniques such as observation that allowed us to obtain real information of the characteristics of this pathology that occurs in our environment. This observation was made using the clinical reports and the stage of interpretation of results includes the tabulation and representation them. In conclusion, an improvement in muscle strength, pain relief and increase in joint range was demonstrated. The protocol of physiotherapy treatment lasted 200 hours, the therapy estimated time was 45 minutes and the sequence of exercises was performed as follows: each technique will have a succession of 5 series-10 repetitions with a slow rate and in each interval a 5 seconds rest.
