Summary:In the present research work, the development of a low-cost teaching resource for learning Newton's second law, case: friction force, was developed. The research was quantitative, with a non-experimental, field, transversal and descriptive-propositional design because the investigated phenomena were described and because a proposal was made. The population was made up of fourth semester students of the Degree in Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences: Mathematics and Physics at UNACH, since it is a descriptive research, the entire population was worked with, so the sample is equal to the population. For data collection, a survey was applied, the instrument used was the questionnaire. The results obtained by the students mentioned that it would be very useful to have the low-cost resource for learning the friction force with the objective that the classes are between theory and practice for a good meaningful learning, through the practices in the laboratory the students awaken more interest in learning. Finally, this resource represents a significant step towards an education with more practical, contextualized and effective knowledge.
