| Sumari: | The present investigative work is supported on the analysis carried out regarding of the utilization of the story as a teaching strategy that used by the teacher for the development of creativity. The objective of this research was to understand the relationship that exists between the story as a teaching strategy in the development of creativity in fifth grade students of the Santo Tomás Apóstol Riobamba Educational Unit. On the other hand, in the theoretical framework we find detailed content on the study variables, fundamental pieces that help the teaching-learning process to be stimulated with the use of this strategy as a resource that enhances the assimilation of knowledge and meaningful learning. In relation by the methodology, its approach is mixed with a non-experimental design, descriptive type, correlational, bibliographic and field, with methods: inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic cross-sectional study type. The study population used was 175 students and four teachers from of the fifth grade, with non-probabilistic sampling. For collection of data, instruments they used such as an observation sheet, questionnaire applied to the four teachers and class plans aimed at 40 students, with their respective techniques: direct observation, survey, bibliographic review and workshops. The findings of this research denote that effectively the story as a teaching strategy facilitates to that students to learn in a playful, dynamic way and at the same time with this tactic it is looming that the development of creativity is fully effective. |
