Sumari:Self-esteem is a crucial aspect of a person's life, and its influence on our quality of life should not be underestimated. Healthy self-esteem can empower us, allowing us to face challenges with confidence, build satisfying relationships, and take care of ourselves. On the other hand, low self-esteem can be a major obstacle, limiting our potential and generating stress and anxiety. That is why the present research aimed to determine the level of self-esteem and the learning process of the students of the Camilo Gallegos Toledo Educational Unit in the city of Riobamba, establishing differences based on sociodemographic variables such as sex and age. chosen technical baccalaureate. The methodology used was qualitative, transversal and field, where a survey and the Rosenberg self-esteem test were applied to a sample made up of 120 first-year high school students specializing in Accounting and Sciences parallel A and B, where it was evident that the majority of students have a high level of self-esteem, this is because each student knows how to adequately manage what they think and feel, without being carried away only by the feeling, in the same way the levels of self-esteem were compared in the learning process it was observed that these levels were not significant in this group of students, since both genders showed a diverse distribution in their levels of self-esteem, which suggests that other factors may be influencing self-esteem.
